The loss of consumer quality, the environmental destruction, the removal of vital labor incomes of the villagers and the associated social disruption with which the people are forced to contend, is not being considered! This is not good.
Un-addressed is this mass migration of the labor force, all leaving their villages in search of work in order to send food money back to their Families.
Can you imagine the wrenching apart of families because one must make the perilous journey to 'El Norte'. Leaving behind their homes, their partners, their babies, their friends and their customs, just so you can drink a cheap cup of environmentally inappropriate coffee?

This presentation is our way of sharing views of the non-beneficial effects of floating, fermenting and furnace-drying your coffee, (without your knowledge or understanding of the effects), prior to arriving in your cup, prior to sales to your favorite socially conscious roaster and prior to roasting in their chosen method.
CAPULIN hopes to provide an insight into, how and why, the people upon whose lands the RICHEST agricultural crop in the world is produced, are amongst the POOREST people in the world and exactly how, 'we the consumers', might exercise control over the resulting poverty and devastation.
This is the conscious consumer's finest opportunity to participate in the introduction of a peaceful social structure where the criteria of business, and life, is based upon consumer quality, economic equity, environmental protection and human compassion.
The commonly accepted water processing method is socially disruptive, environmentally destructive and diminishes the virtues of natural, sweet, flavorful, and stimulating coffee.
